Supervision
Aquatic Supervision
It’s vital to actively supervise your child at all times when visiting a pool. Your child’s safety is your responsibility—lifeguards are there to respond in emergencies, not to act as babysitters. Distractions like phones, conversations, or reading can lead to tragedy in seconds. Keep your eyes on your child, stay within arm’s reach if they’re young or inexperienced swimmers, and always make them your priority around wate
Supervision Policies:
Persons aged 0 – 5 years and non-swimmers: Stay within arms’ reach.
Persons aged 6 -10 years and weak swimmers: Be close, be prepared and maintain constant visual contact.
Persons aged 11- 13 years: Maintain visual contact.
Distractions are dangerous. Avoid mobile phones and other distractions that may interrupt supervision
Failure to adhere to the public pool policy may result in suspension from or refusal of entry to the facility.
Your child should be your focus!
